Team Z Motorsports 94-04 Mustang Steering Column Kit offers a lightweight and high-performance option for your race car. Easily mounted in the stock location of your Mustang, installing is a quick and easy process. Each Kit is constructed from 4130 Chromoly to reduce weight, while providing high strength. It uses a 1-1/4" outer tube with Delrin bushings and a ¾" inner tube that SFI approved Strange quick disconnect hub on the drivers side and a ¾” X ¾" Smooth Chromoly U-joint on the engine compartment side mount to. It also comes with 2) locking collars to keep the shaft in place from moving in the column. Our kit also comes standard with our intermediate shaft that has ¾" Chromoly Tubing, and a ¾" X 9/16 Spline U-joint to connect to a Flaming River 94-04 Mustang steering rack. The 3/4" tube comes long to allow you to trim to fit your desired length.
Our Column Kits provide a 12lbs saving over the stock column and works great with a Team Z Lightweight Steering Wheel.
